New dry discharge system for CEMEX Northfleet Wharf

A new £3.5 million dry discharge system at CEMEX Northfleet Wharf is set to secure Thames river traffic and improve building material throughputs at the site. Currently under construction, the new dry discharge system will be completed by the middle to end of June 2019. The Port of London Authority (PLA) is investing in the new conveyor and infrastructure as part of its Investment Plan. The development will allow CEMEX Marine dredgers to discharge sand and gravel more efficiently for processing at the Northfleet site.
