A revival in recovered paper exports to China in early November slowed the downward spiral in prices on the German domestic market. Paper mills failed in their efforts to secure another big cut in prices for mass grades in November. Mark-downs in excess of €5/t have not surfaced for mixed paper and board, supermarket paper and board or for used corrugated kraft II, sources said. On the contrary, some contracts were inked at October's prices, depending on the previous price.
