Umka begins rebuild, starts second phase next year

Serbian recycled board producer Umka began the rebuild and upgrade of its BM in Belgrade. BM 1 was switched off on schedule on 15 June and will be rebuilt by Valmet in the next three months. Valmet informs that the measures will include rebuilding the wet section and sheet former. According to a company spokesperson, the BM will be restarted on 15 September with significantly higher capacity.
