The latest price round on the publication paper market in France resulted in widespread price reductions. Buyers had the upper hand in negotiations owing to declining consumption and more than sufficient supplies, and they were largely able to achieve their demands. Price pressure was also felt in July on the market for woodfree coated and uncoated paper, which sent prices tumbling.
