Cities are surveyed on erosion control and geotechnical project plans. Over 8,200 cities in the U.S. and Canada were recently surveyed as part of the Public Works 2000 City Engineering Survey. Cities were queried on plans for erosion control and geotechnical projects, and whether they planned to purchase erosion control products. Forty-nine percent or 4,018 cities responded. Below, the number of cities reporting is in parentheses.
