MAV backs Vic Government focus on waste and recycling

The Municipal Association of Victoria has backed the decision of the Victorian Government to focus Sustainability Victoria's work on waste, recycling and energy efficiency programs. MAV President, Bill McArthur, said councils had sought a stronger emphasis on waste management and resource recovery, which were critical to Victoria's future environmental sustainability.
