Last week, housing secretary Robert jenrick announced a raft of new building safety measures designed to stop another Grenfell tragedy happening.Badged as the "biggest change in building safety for a generation", the measures included the immediate establishment of a building safety regulator within the Health and Safety Executive, the appointment of an advisory panel to consolidate and update advice to building owners to make sure their properties are safe, and a consultation into the existing combustion cladding plan.
