Blot on Porthcawl's landscape could soon be replaced with new scheme

The Salt Lake site has blighted Porthcawl for at least 40 years. It occupies a prominent spot on the seatront and while other areas of Porthcawl have enjoyed the benefits of the town's success as a seaside town and tourist destination, the site remains semi-derelict, home only to an unloved car park. However, following intervention from Bridgend County Borough Council, that might be about to change.
