The Ground Rents Income Fund (GRIF) has reported strong growth in net asset value (NAV) in full-year results that reflect investors' growing thirst for secure income. The REIT's NAV per share jumped 15% in the year to the end of September to 131.83p, boosted by a sharp increase in the value of the portfolio to £125.7m. The ground rents specialist is unusual among REITs in that its shares rose significantly in the wake of the EU referendum as bond yields fell and demand for secure income increased. The shares are up 18% year on year and trade at a premium to NAV.
