Telford Homes' profits grow as housebuilder embraces PRS

Telford Homes has reported record full-year results and agreed a £63.2m private rented sector (PRS) deal with M&G Real Estate. On Wednesday, the housebuilder posted 42% growth in revenue to £245.6m and a 28% rise in pre-tax profits to £32.2m. Chief executive John Di-Stefano said it planned to step up building activity in non-prime London locations to capitalise on strong demand. "There is a housing crisis in London and a clear imbalance between the supply of homes and the needs of a growing population," he said.
