Boris picks SEGRO for massive east London development deal

Listed industrial developer SEGRO has secured a deal with the Greater London Authority (GLA) to develop a huge land portfolio in the undersupplied east London market. The REIT has been appointed as development partner by the GLA to bring forward industrial and logistics schemes across 15 sites, totalling 86 acres in the London Riverside opportunity area of east London, Once signed, the deal will be the largest of its kind between the public sector and a private land developer in the capital.
