Ludgate likes to see annual days of celebration dutifully and thoroughly rejoiced, so it was impressed to see that Stormtroopers made an appearance at several shopping centres around the country on Sunday. For all those not accustomed to the importance of May 4th (and Ludgate can't imagine who these heathens would be) it is international Star Wars Day - a play on iconic line may the force be with you'. Fans of the franchise usually spend the occasion with curtains drawn watching the entire collection back-to-back, sometimes dressed as their favourite character.
