Boutique hotel operator Firmdale has unveiled plans for its latest London scheme.It aims to develop a hotel on a derelict site off Shaftesbury Avenue, which it bought last year.It plans to create 92 hotel rooms, 24 flats, 12 shops and a restaurant, in addition to its first bowling alley and a theatre, cinema and garden.The proposed scheme will also open up previously hidden courtyards.Axa Real Estate Investment Managers, on behalf of Co-operative Insurance Society, teamed up with Firmdale to fund the purchase of the site last year.
