HSBC this week appointed a new European corporate real estate head as it edges closer to selling its UK tower headquarters (above, right) for £800m.The bank has appointed former ANZ Bank head of corporate real estate Jane Hamilton to oversee its European property portfolio. One of her key aims is likely to be to complete the banks' London and Paris headquarters sale-and-leaseback plans.
