Oaktree Capital Management has built a stake in a portfolio of 16 Hilton hotels that is owned by a consortium of investors that includes Igal Ahouvi and Delek Global Real Estate, and was once worth £417m.The US investor is understood to have built up ownership of around 30% of the senior debt on the portfolio over the last few months. The senior loan on the portfolio is understood to be around £260m, but the total debt rises closer to £300m when B and C notes are included.
