Talk to any landlord, agent or asset manager in Dublin, and they can reel off an uplifting list of the inward investors who want to buy in the city. There are a multitude of names, but the first one is nearly always Kennedy Wilson. While there are plenty of investors who have been on the ground, sniffing around since murmurs of an Irish recovery started a year or so ago, Kennedy Wilson has been the stand-out investor in terms of putting its money where its mouth is and getting deals over the line. Property Week International spoke to the company's president and chief executive of Europe, Mary Ricks, to find out why it deployed €371m into the Irish market last year and what its plans are for future investment. It expects to spend €2bn between the UK and Ireland in 2013 "with a good balance between the two".
