Cardinal points to prelets

Construction is to begin at the Cardinal Point Retail Park in Tamworth after the landlord, Royal London Asset Management, signed three prelets for the 80,000 sq ft scheme. Cardinal Point will be anchored by a 45,000 sq ft B&Q retail warehouse, the home improvement and garden centre retailer's first new store since 2008. Next Home will join B&Q and trade from a 10,000 sq ft store, and electronics retailer Maplin has agreed to take a 5,000 sq ft unit.
