Realism prevails as Cushman team takes up gavel at CBRE

The new CB Richard Ellis auction team is gearing up for its first auction on 10 November. The five-strong team left Cushman & Wakefield after its final auction on 12 May. Cushman said at the time that "volumes and prices in commercial auction sales are falling". However, team head John Townsend and CBRE's UK managing director, Martin Samworth, are confident that the team can be of commercial benefit to the company.
