￡500m of centres sold in Christmas shop spree

Nearly ￡500m of shopping centres deals tipped by Property Week have now been sealed. In Plymouth British Land has exchanged contracts to buy Kandahar's Drake Circus for ￡235m, which represents a yield of around 6%. The shopping centre comprises more than 70 shops. Legal & General Property has completed its purchase of Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre in Maidstone for its UK Property Income Fund.
