Celebrate the Safety Profession With OSH Generations

Some members were inspired to get involved with safety by their parent or sibling. Others may have inspired their children to join the profession. With Society Updates OSH Generations, ASSP celebrates our members by sharing the stories of the people who influenced them to enter the safety profession or those who they inspired to become safety professionals.In the November issue of ASSP's Society Update, Pat, Iris and BrianMcCon share their story. All three were members and past presidents of the Northern Ohio Chapter. All three entered the OSH profession through a "back door," starting out as a volunteer firefighter, registered nurse and diesel mechanic respectively.
