AWPT Launches Campaign to Save Lives on Boom Platforms

Aerial Work Platform Training (AWPT) has launched a new safety campaign in North America to encourage users of boom-type plat- forms to wear a full-body harness with a short lanyard attached to a suitable anchor point. Called "Click It!" the campaign, which has been approved by the Scaffold Industry Association, is similar to successful promotional campaigns encouraging people to wear seatbelts while riding in a car.
