In an effort to prevent fraudulent trainers, OSHA is strengthening its outreach training program by improving how trainers become authorized to teach andrnensuring that they are in compliance with program guidelines. The voluntary program has grown to more than 16,000 independent trainers across the U.S. who are eligible to teach workers and employers about workplace hazards and provide OSHA 10-hour course completion cards.
