Pay budgets are under constant pressure at the moment with indications that a few organisations are introducing pay freezes or pay cuts.rnThe finding comes from the latest IDS Pay Databank report published in June. IDS says that April is a key bargaining month and the latest croprnof settlements includes a large proportion of freezes but adds that whilst this is part of the picture on pay, the majority of firms are awarding pay increases, with the median settlement level at 2 per cent.
