The traditional assumption that apprentices only learn 'trade' or 'low level' skills has been challenged in a survey of senior executives, published by CMI in February.rnThe findings show that the new-found popularity of management apprenticeships has come about because business leaders see the impact apprentices have on day-to-day performance.rnAccording to the survey, 69 per cent of respondents claim that apprenticeships are an effective way of developing management skills.
