Team-leading guide scoops book award

A guide to improving team performance has won CMI's annual Management Book of the Year awards. The Management Book by Richard Newton was handed the prize at an awards ceremony in London in January. It is subtitled "How to Manage Your Team to Deliver Outstanding Results" and gives managers excellent advice on the core task of leaders - how to get the very best from their staff. It was considered for the prize after winning the Practical Manager category.
