Catherine Wright interviews Jupiter project manager Mark Jones and news technology controller Naomi Climer about the BBC's pioneering news media asset management pilot. As broadcasters move towards new methods of managing their assets, re-thinking the way their employees work, they find that keeping the support of these employees becomes more crucial. Omnibus' Brian Paisley - a veteran of the introduction of these new practices, notably at TV 4 in Sweden - said more than a year ago: "How this new technology will affect the employees has become the single most important factor in broadcasting. If employees don't understand the technology or refuse to use it, that technology becomes useless."
