The adoption of continuous, full-color inkjet printing is accelerating among high-volume transaction printers, particularly those who are using multiple pre-printed stocks. The ability to drive efficiencies through process improvement is undeniable, but the minimum volumes for break-even cited by analysts vary widely. The challenge is that analysts' TCO estimates are typically framed at an industry level that does not always translate well to an individual printer.
