Hundreds of representatives from PCB shops, electronics assemblers, metal finishing companies, and other effluent dischargers packed the EPA offices in the Metcalfe Federal Building in Chicago March 8 to state their case for a reprieve from a new rule that proposes to significantly lower the amounts of waste metals permissible under federal guidelines.
