Despite the fact that it is the largest in the world, Japan's PCB industry of late has been overshadowed by Taiwan's and China's. There's no doubt China has grabbed the limelight. Buyers rush there in search of cheaper PCBs. Every volume fabricator has either built a plant there or is in the process doing so. Nevertheless, Japan exports twice as many PCBs to China as it imports.
