One of the world's largest PWB companies is taking over one of its oldest. Unimicron (unimicron.com), which had 2008 sales of $1.46 billion, has invested an undisclosed amount in Ruwel (ruwel.de), the venerable German fabricator. Taiwan-based Unimicron has 14 production facilities: seven in Taiwan and seven in China. It joins financial investor BlueBay as Ruwel's major stakeholders.
