Rogers Corp. plans to establish an innovation center at Northeastern University's research site in Burlington, MA, where the two organizations will leverage their complementary research and development initiatives in advanced materials. The partnership aims to accelerate the commercialization of basic research, the company said. The partnership will team Rogers' expertise in developing and manufacturing materials used in high-frequency printed circuits, power electronics and other applications with Northeastern's materials research in super strong carbon fibers and metamaterials designed for invisibility cloaking.
