A poll of nearly three dozen tin producers, traders and consumers at the first Tin Market Outlook reception sponsored by ITRI China in Beijing suggests most expect only a very gradual improvement in market conditions. The SAE Aerospace Council's (sae.org) AS5553A, a new standard for counterfeit electronics parts avoidance and detection, was scheduled to be released in January.
