It's clear-cut and well-demarcated. The North-South divide is quite strong in the country. While 51% of consumers in the North zone are likely to keep track of every rupee spent as compared to 38% in the South zone, 31 % North Indians are eager to bargain with dealers compared to 25% South Indians. Southern consumers are also more like to prefer supermarkets (38% vs 28%) and buy on experts' recommendation (26% vs 20%).
