Ninth International Workshop on Presence, October 2006 Guest Editors' Introduction

The Ninth Annual International Workshop on Presence took place at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio in October of 2006. The Presence conferences are sponsored by ISPR, the International Society for Presence Research, and have consistently featured diverse and interesting presentations from members of the interdisciplinary presence community. A small sample of the work from the Cleveland conference is featured in this issue of Presence: Teleoperators and Virtual Environments, and each article demonstrates the relevance of telepresence in a different domain.
