The photograph of the 1913-built Delaware River ferry Bridgeton that appeared on the inside front cover of the Fall 2003 issue of Steamboat Bill generated comment from several members who provided information on the vessel and her background. One of those who wrote was Albert S. Clarke III, of Jamestown, Rhode Island, who sent along the story of the wheelhouse of the ferry Hammonton — sister to the Bridgeton — that is in his possession.
