Alstom announced the award of a $95 million contract to supply its NID Dry Flue Gas Desulphurization Systems for two 660 MW coal-fired units at the Homer City Generating Station in Indiana County, Penn.rnThe project is designed to reduce emissions of sulfur dioxide, mercury and other pollutants. The Homer City plant is owned by Edison International and operated by its subsidiary Midwest Generation.
