ALL-ELECTRIC EFFORT AT THE PORT OF TYNE

In early 2021 the Port of Tyne announcedthat it has completed a detailed modellingexercise and long-term analysis of its electricitynetwork, as part of its decarbonisationand clean energy strategy.This process enables the Port’s leadershipto understand both current andfuture energy requirements in line withTyne 2050’s ambitious net zero roadmapsfor Port of Tyne to become carbon neutralby 2030 and an all-electric port by2040.
