Successful naming and launch ceremony for Miondo by IHC Merwede

Holland's IHC Merwede has successfully named and launched the stationary cutter suction dredger, Miondo during mid-May 2012 at its shipyard in Sliedrecht. The company is building the innovative vessel for Marina & Ports Services Ltd, which is based in UK. The contract for the design, construction and delivery of the vessel was signed between Marina & Ports Services Ltd and IHC Beaver Dredgers during March 2011. The keel was laid during October 2011 and the ship will be delivered in the third quarter of 2012.
