The AMSOIL Engine Masters Challenge for 2013 takes it "Back To The Streets" as competitors, following specific engine build criteria and set of rules, apply their expertise and technological knowhow to face off to find the most performance-enhanced engine. This invitational event challenges the contestants to search out every possible ounce of power they can make through the use and selection of engine performance products and their own secret formula to become The Engine Master. Selected engine-building teams will meet at the University of Northwestern Ohio from October 7 to 11 to do battle on SuperFlow/DTS engine dynometers. Different engine brands and sizes from builders are massaged to performance excellence in the quest for the best possible horsepower and torque averages. Builders take advantage of the power gains possible through the use of some of the world's best engine performance parts, whose manufacturers support I the competition through Contingency Sponsorship.
