Ghermal analysis of some chitosan Schiff bases

摘要

Reactions of chitosan with aromatic aldehydes gave Schiff base polymers. The products were characterized and identified using microanalysis and IR spectro- scopy. Thermal analyses of the polymers showed that they are less stable than chitosan itself.
