Preliminary Results of Purification of Dairy Sewage by Photocatalysis on Titania

摘要

Photodegradation of milk solutions (dairy sewage substitutes) occurred both in the presence and absence of TiO_2 photocatalyst, as it was monitored using COD measurements. At lower milk concentration the photoreactionrnrates were directly proportional to the concentration. Small additions of hydrogen peroxide enhanced greatly milk photodegradation, especially in the presence of titanium dioxide photocatalyst.
