Flavonoids from Lactuca quercina and L. tatarica

From aerial parts f Lactuca quercina L. and Lactuca tatarica C. A. Meyer six flavonoids were isolated using different chromatographic techniques. Of these, three compounds, apigenin, luteolin and quercetion-3-O-β-glucopyranoside, were found in both species, two compounds, apigenin-7-O-β-glucopyranoside and kaempferol-3-β-glucopyranoside, originated from the latter, and one compound, luterolin-7-O-β-glucopyranoside, from the former.
