ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE VETERANS CELEBRATE WITH THE ITALIAN POLICE VETERANS ASSOCIATION

Recently President Bob Arbour of the OPPVA and Boyd Brown represented the OPPVA at the Italian Canadian Veteran Police Association banquet. The banquet was held at the Panemonte Banquet and Convention Centre in Etobicoke. This is the 60th Anniversary of their parent Association in Italy and the 16th Anniversary of their local Region. President Bob Arbour presented their President Frank Padula with a certificate of congratulations.rnFormed in 1969 with nine former members having a meeting in an effort to get former and retired police officers together for social functions and continued friendships which started during their careers has grown to over 1,200 members and 23 Chapters across the Province. Some members live in other Provinces in Canada and the USA and joined to keep in touch.
