The commissioning of the Access to Justice report started this root and branch reform and my response sends a very clear signal that Northern Ireland will no longer copy and paste what has been introduced in England and Wales without any assessment of its suitability here Minister of Justice David Ford MLA, Northern Ireland Department of Justice Over the life of this Assembly, the Minister intends to implement almost 40 different projects to improve access to justice, bring legal aid expenditure within budget and improve accountability within the justice system.
