Extensive blistering in a diabetic neuropathic foot: A holiday complication

Initial contact was requested by the physician from Accident and Emergency. While on a trip to Ireland, this patient developed diabetic foot problems that required professional management. The patient reported that large serous blisters developed painlessly when he walked a couple of miles and were first noticed by the patient's wife, who had been taught the importance of inspecting the feet daily.
