Hello rain, goodbye tanks

With attempts to return the national budget back to surplus, the Federal Government is cutting costs on a number of initiatives previously available to consumers. Household rebates for rainwater tanks and greywater systems are no exception, now no longer available for products purchased after May 10. With over 13,500 rainwater or greywater systems having been installed since 2009, the Australian Government will effectively cut the entire program by 10 November, 2011.
