US companies can continue exports of Canadian-obligated U3O8, UF6 to UK

Two US companies can continue to export Canadian-obligated U3O8 and natural UF6 to the UK under existing export licenses, now that the Canadian government has agreed to such exports. ConverDyn, the conversion marketing arm for Honeywell International, and Transport Logistics International, a nuclear materials transporter, were allowed Jan. 4 to resume shipments of such material, a spokesman for the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission said by email Jan. 14.
