Greenhouse Gas allowance markets were mixed with prices falling in the West and rising in the East. California vintage 2015 contracts for December 2015 delivery dropped 15 cent to $12.95/metric ton on the IntercontinentalExchange. The vintage 2016 contract for December 2016 delivery decreased 12 cent to $13.36/mt on ICE. There were total of 39 California transactions traded or cleared on ICE from January 9-15, representing 4,975 contracts. Total volume fell by 15,171 contracts from the previous week.
