bipartisan group of US senators have introduced the HydrogenInfrastructure Initiative, a package of three bills designed to sparkdeployment of hydrogen in hard-to-abate industrial and maritimesectors.The legislation was introduced Oct. 28 by senators Bill Cassidy,Republican-Louisiana; Chris Coons, Democrat-Delaware; and JohnCornyn, Republican-Texas. New Mexico’s two democratic senators,Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Lujan, signed on as co-sponsors.
