US nanotechnology company Damorphe is developing a hydrogenproduction technology using a rare earth oxide alloy that dissolves inwater, which it says has the potential to deliver clean hydrogen at $1/kg.The company, which specializes in nanomaterials for nicheapplications from aerospace and defense, to energy and healthcare,is working with partners to develop a prototype 1 mt/daydemonstration facility in California, which could produce hydrogenfor truck refueling.
